Throughout Ethiopia, the only source of water for entire communities is a contaminated pond or stream. For others, their only source of water is from muddy puddles. The cost of providing safe, practical access to water is beyond their reach. In Ethiopia, four out of every five people live on less than $2.00 (USD) per day.
